Long Shot Bar & Grill open since April bring a special vibe to the area's rich casual restaurant and sports bar scene.
Lunch and dinner, from burgers to quesadillas, and wings, martinis, margaritas, craft beer, daily happy hour, DJs and live bands with a dance floor. Rock band E3 debuts there Friday, May 17 at 8:30 p.m.
The spacious industrialized interior has exposed beams and wooden bar and tables to add warmth, making it feel "homey," said a Facebook reviewer. "Awesome new bar/restaurant," the post continues.
"Great new venue...had a blast playing there," said musician Claus Dose who played at Long Shot on opening weekend.
The new restaurant has "a nice, big room in the area with plenty of seating and plenty of room for dancing in for the band. It should become a happening place in Coram. Looking forward to gigging there again," Dose continued.
The owners, husband and wife, Leo and Karen Sguera, wanted to "bring a nice hangout spot to the neighborhood, said a member of the staff Michelle Lagudi.
There are a pool table and dart boards at Long Shot, located at 3720 Route 112 in Coram (formerly Karakters).
